Surfing Australia and Nikon are running the ‘My Break’ competition and are seeking images of your favourite surf spot. Entries can be taken from any perspective. If you’re adventurous and have a waterproof camera, maybe a shot from inside the barrel of a wave is possible. If not, an image taken from the shore of surfers riding huge waves can be just as impressive!

In order to enter, like the Surfing Australia Facebook page and use the app to upload your image, which must be less than 2MB, along with a 25 word-or-less explanation of why you love that particular surf break. You may enter the competition up to three times. Entries must be in by 30 September 2012 to be in with a chance at the prize.

The first prize winner will receive a Nikon Coolpix AW100 digital camera, a surfboard and a rash vest.  Those who make it to second to fifth place…
